FIREPEGS is a toy for making dynamical patterns. It's always simple, but can be easy or very challenging. Solving a problem, you see the colors and there positions in space. You just don't know what causes what, and when.

The red index is pointing at the links to some of my projects. While watching, you may click on firepegs to turn them on. Firepegs are the rounded squares changing their colors.

The time has stopped. Click on TICK to advance it. Watch how firepegs work. If firepeg has "0" in the middle, it's sleeping. If it has "1", it's waiting to fire up. If it has "2", it's up and glowing. Every firepeg passes the fire to the next firepeg in the loop.

Set the mode selector on RD (which means, READY). Remark how everything has changed. In this mode you can tinker with firepegs and create new patterns.

Choose a color (not yellow). Click on the yellow center of any firepeg to change it's color to your color. Choose another color, color another firepeg or firepegs. In this lesson I allow you to change only the colors, but try not to click on anything else.

I'd like you to learn the quick fix: if you clicked on a wrong peg, just click on it again!

When you give firepeg a new color, it remembers the old one. Clicking with the same color for the second time recalls the old color. Click more to see how it works. Did you try?

OK then. So you got those four firepegs colored as you like. Let's bring them back to life. Switch the mode selector to GO and watch. You may choose another pattern, switch to RD, change the colors and return to GO. This lesson is over. Good bye!
